Why this must be read:

I'm not a big Sheppard/Teyla fan. The more a show pushes something, the warier I am of it and thus, writers have that much more trouble convincing me of it. Pru did it in one fic. If the writers of Atlantis approached it like she does...I'd be much more amenable about it. I like this John. I buy this John's attraction. I love the way Teyla responds to him and I like her for it. It's a fantastically written story with great pacing and the best use of a dance that I've seen in a very long time.

And the thing is, I didn't find it shippy at all, so in a way, I'd call it more gen (albeit "Het!John Sheppard") rather than Sheppard/Teyla.

Also, I loved the moments with Rodney.
