Fathers and Daughters, by David Hines (Gen)

Why this must be read: Well, aside from it being awesome gen with great characterization, style, whatever (it's just obscenely well-written), the topic is interesting. Crappy Dad is a recurring theme for angsty heroes or tormented villains. And if the Dad ain't crappy, more often than not, he's either out of the loop or dead as a doornail. In most fandoms, supportive dads are a rare breed indeed.
And yet, there's this one dad in the DCU, who's not only awesome, but very much around and in the thick of things, and all kinds of cool.
"Who is he talking about?" you wonder. Well, click and read. =)
