Why this vid kicks ass:

A vid about Fraser set to the song Superman by Five For Fighting seems obvious in retrospect and the vidder pulls it together as wonderfully as you would imagine. This is first and second season Fraser at his best and worst. I think she does a great job of merging the lyrics and both Fraser's vulnerability as well as his super hero efforts. She also follows the theme of flight through some of Fraser's wilder chasing-crooks ideas which nicely keeps the visuals fresh from beginning to end.

For pure fun enjoyment I liked the shots for the lyrics I may be disturbed when Fraser is blind in the woods and driving Vecchio crazy and for the lyrics I’m not crazy or anything with the camera on Dead!Bob for the or anything. The ending shot is probably my favorite though, because it is all about The Hat.

Of course, the pilot first made the Superman-Fraser comparison with the Crash Test Dummies Superman song on the soundtrack.

Yup. And the vid opens with some dialogue from Vecchio where he calls Fraser Superman, so the references are peppered around. I didn't mean to say the Superman comparisons originated here, but that the comparison to Superman as detailed in the Five For Fighting lyrics and how well they go with Fraser seemed obvious after the fact.
