Hi I'm Doylebaby and I'll be driving The Professionals van in August!

A story that shows the deep caring Bodie and Doyle have for each other. Every little gesture and look on their faces is no mystery to the other. Unable to have contact they find another way to entertain themselves: they watch each other without knowing it.



Any opportunity of looking at Doyle unobserved was always seized and enjoyed. He was too far away for Bodie to watch his expressive eyes and mouth, but the rest of him was in clear view.

Doyle inspected his mate from toe to crown, helplessly cataloguing each known yet unfamiliar contour. Long, powerful legs disappeared beneath a jacket that was cut practically, in order to conceal evidence of the weapon snug against Bodie's ribs, but in actuality revealed the breadth of that shoulder and deep expanse of muscular chest.

I enjoyed the story, although I found the fact that Doyle couldn't place Bodie's actual position in the room from his reflection a bit beyond belief. I could see him being disorientated, but not for long at all. He wouldn't be one of CI5's best operatives if that were the case.

But I liked the way it dawned on them that they had been watching each other without realising, and they way they did something about it.

Glad you liked it. Actually I've experienced something like that myself in a very busy shop, with mirrors at different angles, I felt quite claustrophobic! *g*
