Why this must be read:
These two stories (set post-movie, Saepe Peccamus comes first) are so closely entwined that I'm recommending them together as a series. In Saepe Peccamus, a deeply depressed and guilt-wracked Munch returns to Baltimore to visit Bayliss in prison. The fic beautifully explores the bond Bayliss and Munch share for taking the law into their own hands, and why it destroyed Bayliss and not Munch. Partners takes us to the Waterfront for a drink and into Munch's mind to confront some of the demons that come from always being the one the bullets missed.
