Why this must be read:

If there’s one thing this fandom has in spades it’s bondage, but it’s nice to see some that’s (almost) purely recreational for a change.

Mourning the loss of yet another suit as Illya takes a post-mission shower, Napoleon gripes, “Surely you could have gotten out of those ropes just a bit faster.”

Napoleon really ought to have known better.

Illya, who is as good at tying knots as he is at undoing them, trusses up his partner and challenges him to beat the Russian’s time of twenty-six-and-a-half minutes. And in order to make it a fair test, naturally he’ll have to provide Napoleon with some, ah, distractions…

Oh, I did enjoy that.

This line, however, did give me pause:

"Illya was breathing hard also, his chest rising and falling as his touch flicked over the ribcage like a piano, grazed the soft stomach and gently tickled the area around the navel."

That's quite a nimble, playful and lightweight piano.

I love this story -- it's one of very few Astrid wrote for UNCLE. Though I see her occasionally here in the Big Apple, it seems that she's retired from fandom (or at least posting on LJ) which I assume is because of work and Real Life. She was the one who hooked me up with UNCLE fandom in the first place -- for which I am eternally grateful!

Well. Either the author meant to write like it [Napoloeon’s torso] was a piano, or I’ve been playing the wrong instrument entirely.

Has she written any UNCLE fics besides this, “Forty (Or Solid Gold),” and “Whiffenpoof Affair”? Those are the only ones that I know of.
