Letting Go by Tara O'Shea (G)
Sorry for the late start, guys! It's a whole long story, and as you guys are here for fiction, not autobiography, I'm going to jump right past it and get to the recs. I'm T.W., and I'll be your Firefly reccer this month. As I'm also pimping for X-Men, you're going to be seeing a lot of me!

Why this must be read:
Tara O'Shea does fantastic fic, and her River POVs are amazing, but one of the things I like best are her wonderful snapshots of the different characters, to the point where it was impossible to choose just one, and I'm probably going to break down and rec Wash's perspective later this month, as it's the perfect companion piece to this snippet about Kaylee falling head over heels.
She was in love with that ship already--he could tell. And you couldn't talk a lick of sense into a girl in love.
