A few items of business:

First, looks like posting of recs will occur on a daily basis, as that is the preference of the overall majority, those who have indicated they’ll be making recs and the two mods. Yay, democracy rules!

I know some of you are champing at the bit to begin posting recs but let’s wait till October 1 so our reccers don’t feel stressed about unfinished overviews. Me, I’m not stressed in the slightest. I’m just really astounded by the awesome job you all are doing and looking forward to savoring the ones yet to come before the fic recs start rolling.

To assist us with archiving in memories, I am requesting recs be formatted differently than originally indicated. I’ll update this elsewhere on the site this weekend:

Our fantabulous banner artist, velvetglove, has tweaked our front page, so hopefully you find it a bit easier to read, and we’ll be utilizing the sidebar for direct links to the fandom overviews and to other multi-fandom communities. A few I am aware of:

Finally, thank you to everyone who’s taken time to spread the word about crack_van to their fandoms. It’s paid off in a big way, and reading the comm’s friends page this week has been enormous fun. stopawhile and I appreciate your enthusiasm muchly!
