Yeah, so you're just going to have to trust me on this one, but if you are at all cranky or grumpy or just pretty much in any way needing a good laugh, you must read this. You remember that episode of Boy Meets World which was a parody of horror movies? Actually, maybe it was an episode of Saved by the Bell. Whatever. This is the Firefly version of that. Read it for the wonderful absurdity. Read it for fabulous cheap shots like:
Mal was a world-weary, reluctant hero not above breaking the law, but even he wouldn't murder someone in cold blood, Simon thought.
"I may be a world-weary, reluctant hero not above breaking the law, but even I wouldn't murder someone in cold blood," Mal said.
Read it for the boobies. Read it for Simon's disappearning pants. Read it because you have always secretly wanted to read a story where Jayne was pregnant and don't bother denying it. But most of all, read it for the fine quality underwear.
