Why this must be read:
Set during last season's episode over the debate on corn and ethanol in Iowa, Josh is trying to come to terms with the decisions he's making on the campaign trail and all the changes going on.
Donna appears at his door. The two talk, realize many things that they *should've* known long ago, and it's just...really well done, worthy read. It's what most Josh/Donna fans wanted to happen last season.
It has banter, but it has so much more, including drama and clarity and a bubble bath.
"How come I have to have the girly drink?" Josh studied the contents of his glass several minutes later and told himself to try not to sound so whiny.
Donna shrugged and swallowed a sip from her own drink. She was stretched out on the armchair and ottoman, and he faced her from his spot on the bed.
"You gave me first pick. Not my fault if you really did want the scotch instead of the Grand Marnier."
"Yeah, don't think I'll be so chivalrous next time."
"No danger of that, I'm sure."
Go read and leave feedback! It can only encourage her to write more Josh/Donna for us: One Night In Iowa
