There are those writers who are so good their stories are sublime, and Hippediva is one. She also has a very dark and disturbed muse, and you can see the results in this story. Set well before the events of the movie, CIA Agent Sands is in a Paraguayan prison. Hippediva lays out her story in brutal scenes punctuated by Sands's own dreams/hallucinations/delusions of performing musicals on stage. Yes, musicals. It's a surreal escape and a bizarre backdrop to the violence. This story may establish the origin of Sands's psychotic break, or his insanity may have already been there.
