I'm going to be AFK most of tomorrow, so in honor of this month's Small Fandom, a crossover to enjoy:

Why this must be read: I'm not sure I heard the question correctly. This has Methos. And Sands. As partners. Blood and sex and blowing people's heads clean off, and sometimes all three at once. Of course they must be read.

Oh, you need more? Well, here's a quote then:

"Sometimes it's a beautiful, kind-hearted girl with six months to live. And sometimes it's a man who was still standing, still fighting, when the trauma he'd just been through should have broken him completely." That made Sands go completely still, barely breathing -- too much, too soon, so Methos continued, "Who also, now that I think about it, was wearing blood all over his pretty face, and that's a look I've always had a weakness for."

If sex and violence isn't enough to do it for you you obviously aren't in the Mexico fandom anyway I'd recommend these stories even so; Sands, blind and newly immortal, lets Methos show both of his extremes - the gentle, caring mentor-friend and the bloody sociopath - and Laylah brings the ends together with such delicacy and skill that you find yourself saying, oh, *that's* who Methos is, after all--
