Why this must be read:
In honour of the crappy October wind that's been howling past my window for days, I am declaring it OT3 week. Because there is nothing like cuddling with Jack and Sam to keep Daniel warm at night. Or in the morning. Or during their lunch break. Whatever.
This is a story set in the season 8 ender timetraveling alternate reality Moebius, where the stargate program never existed. Or as Jenn likes to call it, the dorkverse. It's the team, only not the team, only still the team, fitting perfectly. And, like the show itself, this story just kinda makes me irrationally happy.
And then the geeks had shown up again. And yeah, he'd seen the familiarity between them all on the tape. He'd seen the glances and the subtle touches, the way they all stood comfortably within each other's personal space. But it was different here. As far as he was concerned, the people in that tape were different people. Their world was a different world. Nothing and no one said things had to be the same in this world.
The thing was... the geeks hadn't left.
