Why this must be read:

This story takes place in the massive co-written alternative crossover universe at pegasus_b, which if you spend a large amount of time in either Stargate fandom you probably already either love or hate or find a bit odd. But I think this one stands pretty well on its own, as a not-all-that-au look at Daniel in his absent-minded professor days. And Rodney McKay is, after all, a Stargate SG-1 character too.

Daniel pointed at the three people making out across the room. "Scenery."

"Ah," Rodney said. "See, you wouldn't get this at your Harvard party."

"You teach at Harvard?" one of Rodney's friends asked.

"Extension," Daniel said shortly.
