Crack really is addictive; having just finished a month of reccing LOTRIPS, I'm now dealing on another corner, that of Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl. The one thing you probably won't see much for November is James Norrington/Jack Sparrow; there are others who are much more qualified to rec that than I. Anything else is fair game, especially polyfic and gen.

Why this must be read:

There's not enough good Bootstrap fic in this fandom. It's one of our only flaws, that Bootstrap Bill Turner doesn't get enough love, but then, I suppose, you don't really need more fic when you've got this. I'm very much in favour of historical realism -- shut up, yes, I know, zombie pirates -- and Elspeth is wonderfully talented at it, what with the "disgusting tropical diseases" here.
