Why this must be read:

ff_friday Challenge--the subject being right and wrong. It's a lovely little "what if" moment, as Mal ponders some of the changes a certain event has brought to his life. Trisana has a delightful way with words; but her journal's inactive, and it seems she hasn't written anything in a long while, which is a pity.
Once in a while, the `verse decided to cut him some slack. He was glad this was one of those times, when he could momentarily forget about all the hardships of life out here in the black and focus instead on the diamonds in the rough.
