Why this must be read:
I have to admit I loved Emmett and Drew. I do see them hooking back up sometime in the future. This story takes place in an AU where Drew ends his career and decides he wants Emmett back. Emmett however, is not sure he wants to go back.
Emmett tried to stop himself, but it was too late. He reached out for Drew’s hand. “I miss you, too.” Drew smiled, a hopeful look creasing his face, and Emmett took a step back suddenly, tearing his hand away. “But I won’t be your secret again, Drew. You know, we should really just talk about this. Why don’t I go, and you can call me later.” He needed to get the hell out of there, or talking would be the last thing they’d be doing.
