Why this must be read:
Because another favourite theme of mine comes in the details which an author manages to bring into a story. I love how it’s the little things which can really flesh out a story, really bring it to life, and round out the characters, build their personalities more fully with their pasts and their thought processes explained. And I love this whether it’s simply through a one-liner slipped into a longer story or a theme built on throughout.
With Moments, this is the latter. It’s short and bittersweet, just how I like it, and the details really capture the moments described wonderfully, and, more importantly, the characters themselves. There’s no dialogue, but with snapshots like these you don’t need dialogue to be able to understand what is really being said.
