Why this vid kicks ass:

Because the clips used fit perfectly with the lyrics and the music, and there are visual pauses to help focus your attention. This enables you to take in each scene and appreciate the mood being conveyed, smoothly and effectively. To me it captures some great moments, and everything about the vid just seems to work wonderfully.

Every one of her vids is magnificent, but this is one of my favorites. It gives you a chance to see some images that don't usually show up in Pros vids -- it's rather pensive, and is cut to a jazz song, and thus is quite different from the usual vid for this fandom. But it is unique, absolutely, as well as beautiful and haunting.

Exactly. :) Lol, you've pinned it down perfectly. I've really been struggling the past few days to type up my thoughts. *sigh* But I agree particularly with this: "It gives you a chance to see some images that don't usually show up in Pros vids". It reminds me of snapshots, or a photoalbum -- you get to see them from so many different angles, and it isn't rushed, you can take your time to let all these little moments sink in and appreciate the many aspects of the whole.

Yes, the clips really are perfect. And there are so many of them - just a glimpse of each one. It really makes me want to watch every single episode to pick them all out. And the point of view of each Lad is given equal time. A good one for pimping the fandom for sure. Thanks for the rec!

Exactly. :) And I always find myself trying to remember the episode I know each scene from. Quite fun, but also quite distracting. And thank you. It took me ages to find the right vid to rec, and then even longer to try and write about it, lol.
