Why this must be read: This pair of stories is set after the season one finale. I found the exploration of Brian and Justin's relationship if Brian were able to accept that he loves Justin early on really interesting. Lane does an excellent job, I think, by not assuming everything would be hugs and puppies after Brian's realization. Her Brian is still Brian, relationship issues and all. There is also some pretty good Michael/David/Brian exploration.
