Why this must be read:

This is my second Sprog-a-thon recc. What can I say, that particular ficathon produced some good fic. But this fic really isn't so much about a baby, as it is about what it means to have a baby appear in one's life. It's about questioning your place in this new configuration of family, of questioning if you even want to be in it. It's about Chiana and change. About growing up and about living with the reality of someone else's dream while yours are broken glass strewn around your feet. This fic contains spoilers for The PeaceKeepers War mini.

Finally, Aeryn opened her eyes and returned Chiana's smile. "I wasn't pregnant for long. And I'm glad. It's frelling strange."

Not long after, the narl's movements slowed, the sucking motions ceased. He appeared to sink straight into a deep sleep. Frelling male
