Why this must be read:
You can't go too far in the SG fanfic world without coming across Suz. Vastly talented and amazingly prolific, Suz is also incredibly versatile. She has a complete knack for situation comedy, making it look a lot easier than it actually is (for all the attempts, no one nails it quite like Suz) but she can also write an deeply dark story with a powerful punch and a lasting effect - like this one. I will probably rec one of Suz's lighter fics too because I think there's not enough credit paid to the skill it takes to put funny and clever together, but for now I'd like you to look over one of her darker pieces and marvel at the deft touch this girl has with simple words and ideas.
