Why this must be read:
This story is one of the few John/Chiana pairings that focuses on John's remorse for his treatment of Chiana after Taking The Stone. It is a story of rape and John's compassion for Chiana's motivations and actions and his total unacceptance of Chiana's lack of self-worth. The text is slightly rough around the edges but the passion, understanding of how wounded Chiana is inside as well as her genuinely good heart; shines through. I accept its slight flaws for its wonderful evocation of something that could have happened in Season 2.
