World Enough and Time by Thistlerose (R)

Fandom: QUEER AS FOLK US
Pairing: Brian/Michael
Author on LJ: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Author Website: Thistlerose's Fan Fiction
Why this must be read:

There's nothing better in the Brian/Michael ship than pre-series fic, in my opinion. Because there's still so much hope for the future! That's one of the things that I love about this fic, how aware Brian is of the future. How he pushes it away and yet keeps it close at the same time. He knows that someday is soon enough for him and Michael. The dialogue, the sweetness, the history, the caring, the bullshit, the friendship: everything that I adore about the pairing can be found in this fic. So that's why I chose it for my last rec for this month, because it represents my love for the fandom so well.

World Enough and Time

Anyways, I had a good time being your QAF driver for this month and I hope anyone checking out these recs found some great fic. :D

Sweet story--I could believe in this Brian.

I've enjoyed your recs this month. I usually skip over all the QAF recs because I don't read B/J; your choices were a nice change.

Wow--pretty icon!

I know how it is when you rec--you wonder if anyone is reading the stories you picked. I try to comment when I read and like a rec'd story.

No, rec'ers need feedback, too--we just don't deserve it like the authors do. ;)

It's a good motivator. I try to comment on other people's recs. I've driven the crack van umpteen times now, and it's fun, but it's also work.

Thanks for the heads-up in Rionne's icons. I am a B/Mer from waaaaaay back (season 1) and I needed some late-in-the-series icons.

I would like to complement you on your recs as well. It's a refreshing change from the usual B/J fare, and I got to read some lovely new B/M fics that I haven't seen before. Thanks!
