Such a good story. It was amazing to see that from Illyan's point of view, so painfully frightening.

Yes, I found this POV heartbreaking, actuallly.

It's interesting because the heartbreak in the book was from the perspective of not being able to help someone you cared about, whereas this was totally what it feels like to be caught in a situation you can't comprehend or control. Watching him try to take stock of his environment was excruciating because it's clear to the outsider what's going on...
