The Awakening by
beth666ann (NC-17)
It's my first Homicide rec! And this one's from someone who I know is actually on LJ and has a website! (Believe me, that will not always be the case)
Title of fic: The Awakening
Rating: NC-17
Fandom: Homicide: Life on the Street
Author: Beth (
beth666ann)
Author's Website: unaware..beth
(Note: this is the site for Beth's *nsync slash, which is also awesome; her Homicide stuff is only available on Schism.)
Pairing: Tim Bayliss/Chris Rawls
Why this must be read: Well, first of all you have the whole canonical nature of the relationship. Then you have the incredible hotness of a super hot thing. Then you have Beth's wonderful writing style.
Example: He's flushed, and the blush has crept over the lovely bones of his face and down the length of his throat."
And that's just the first sentence. Don't even get me started on the third paragraph's description of Bayliss' hands. *Guh*.

p.s. Could you do me a small favour? Could you change the subject so that it reads - Title by Author (Rating). Thank you so much!

I dived into Schism and am presently wallowing.
One thing I noticed which is starting to irritate me... spring in Baltimore starts in February/March. By April/May, temperatures in the 70's and 80's is not unusual, much less "unseasonably warm". And on the other end, it's the same. For instance, this year, up until about a week ago, we've been regularly having temps in the 70' and 80's.
But reading about a man discovering his love of hot gay sex? *No* problem, there! *g*

And, yeah on the weather stuff (says the woman who finally turned off her air conditioning last night ;-)). And the hot gay sex!
