Fandom: STARSKY AND HUTCH
Pairing: Starsky/Hutch
Why this must be read: The first story starts off as gen and then moves onto slash in the second. Post-SR, Starsky's recovering, and he's thinking about his progress so far. He has been slowly getting better with Hutch beside him all the way.
"Ch'doin', Hutch?" Husky and indistinct from sleep, he cleared his throat. "Hmm?"
In the pause which followed Starsky could almost hear the litany of smart remarks his partner was sifting through as Hutch sat there on the floor, his long legs curled, his eyes focused somewhere past the end of the couch. Trampolining, Starsk, what does it look like? Checking to see if there's rain on the way, practising yoga...Starsky waited to see which it would be.
"Listening to you," Hutch said.
And in one quiet moment, Hutch's head on Starsky's chest, they were beginning to heal and they were beginning to love in a new way. Adding another layer to their relationship. Simple words, simple actions, a love that will never end.
