Why this must be read:
An interesting story within-a-story, Morrighan takes us to Starsky & Hutch’s first day at the Academy, interspersed with flash-backs into a secret from Hutch’s past. Reading the flash-backs can be confusing – there’s a lot of moving around within the timeframe of the past 2 to 3 months – but it’s a good read that brings in Colby, a glimpse of Hutch’s parents, and of course Starsky, whose unerring instinct leads him to keep a virtual stranger from ruining his own life.
