Why this must be read:
Whenstillane wrote this fic she had only seen the trailer for the episode Faith and from that she wrote this clever fic which suggests a way that the boys might be able to get around Dean's death. It uses supernatural tropes effectively and it shows the boys caring for each other. It's obviously AU, and a tiny bit jarring because of it: not because of her story but because I know the way it's supposed to work out. This story is nice because it tells a different way that the story could have been told.
