Why this must be read:
This has to be the only truly original Window of Opportunity fic I've ever seen, and it packs a hell of a brilliant twist for such a little drabble.

Malachai rubbed the back of his neck. The infra-red output of the star had increased along with the coronal mass emmissions; he was hot, he was sweating, and he was beginning to get a headache.
The stargate opened.
