Why this must be read:
I know Legion from her fantastically dark Sentinel fic, but this piece is more tender as Teal'c tries to atone for killing Sha're and Daniel tries to find peace.
Shoes walked into his line of sight, and he reached for alertness, only to let it go with a hidden sigh as Jack knelt down beside he and Teal'c. Their commander's face was relieved - and understanding. O'Neill laid a hand on the Jaffa's head, almost in benediction, then brushed his fingers over a cheek affectionately. "Thank god," Jack murmured.
