Why this must be read:
I love a good story that deals with Immortal origins, and this is one of the best. It sucks you in, glues you to your chair, and doesn't let go until the final line. It's wonderfully written, well researched, and fits with canon, indeed explaining some Methos' actions that never quite made sense when viewed strictly through canon. And I particularly like Methos' Watcher, Jamie.
