Why this must be read: Undefined, quasi-relationships are difficult and hard to maintain. This story is about Logan and Rogue's, masters of said relationship. Even theirs' can't last forever. How did it get to this point? Will they have to talk about their *gasp* feelings? Pfft. Like I'd rec it if they didn't.
"Well. That was awkward."
He shrugs. "Like I said- didn't matter."
"Sure it did. I'm sorry," I tell him, and I still can't make anything out of that weary expression. "I shouldn't just assume you're always free to-"
"Cut it out." Something sparks there, just for a second, almost scary in its intensity. "She's just some girl I met in a bar."
I smile for real at that. "So'm I, come to that. What's the difference?"
