With the breaking *ahem* news today, I've decided to feature Lance Bass for the rest of month. Hope everyone enjoys the recs.

Why this must be read:</> I was amazed when checking that Trixie has only been recced for one fic and that was back in 1/04. While she doesn't put out much sparkly boy fic anymore, what is on her page is insightful slices of life that I could easily see and hear. Try Drive or The Courtship of Chris and Lance or This Margin of Error w/commentary by the author even. But mostly try Nothing Better. While only a short future fic, it makes Lance very real in the best possible way. Trixie obviously likes Lance Bass and respects him as a person as she does the other members of *NSYNC. With broad strokes, the author reminds the reader that these are people too with faults & foibles. And it's little moments that make up a life - The best part of life. Try it.

If you like Nothing Better try some of her other wonderful fic. Her site will always provide the reader with a warm, cuddly feeling. Somedays, there is nothing better.

So glad you liked it. Please drop the author a line also, if you have the time. I know she still does some writing, if only in another fandom. Maybe we could get a spark going, yes?

And, like you, I enjoyed finally getting confirmation. In fact, I spent most of Wednesday in a warm, bubbly glow. And taping every entertainment show that had an excerpt. And wouldn't you know it, Lance finally sent Mary Hart an email saying he'd decided he wasn't doing interviews right now. Arrrggghhhh.

I love how quick Joey & JC came out in support. Found it interesting he had never actually discussed it w/Justin. What the heck? So is Justin really that homophobic? Inquiring minds want to know and I want my people magazine NOW, darn lt. ;-)

PS I'm so proud of Lance and I hope he's very, very happy!! I spent most of yesterday doing absolutely nothing except bouncing around people's journals squeeing like an idiot, and I suspect today will be more of the same :-)

It's absolutely adorable. I screamed when I saw it and emailed it to a couple friends just to go, "na-na-na, na-na, na. See, I'm not the only one who thinks so." It would be a perfect t-shirt slogan for those of us 'out of the closet'.

I think she made when Lance outbid Nick Lachey for the sake of going skiboarding with Justin at that charity auction a while back, but I might be wrong. It was for something very popslash canon-y in any case :-)

I seriously have *NEVER* read any popslash. Not because I have objections at all -- I read RPS that takes place with celebrities/actors in other contexts -- but for whatever reason, I just wasn't as into the particular bands that are featured.

But truly, with Lance Bass coming out, it makes me want to read some of the fans perceptions on "would have/could have been", so thanks very much for making LB-related recs as the month continues. :)

Oh, welcome, welcome, then. This is the time to find some sweet goodness. I've already posted a link to her this month but I since you are coming into this late I will reiterate. Anything by Rhys (http://www.illuminations.nu/experimentv/stories.html) is worth your time but her Lance-centric stories, , well, it's just pure love. Of course, I'm also a little partial to her Chris-centric stuff too since she got me hook for all time on Trickyfish love but definitely try Flame, Boyfriend, Kink, Most in Life, 2 Straight Guys In Wisconsin, Stick Shift Reverse, Pseudo Ugly, The Wednesday Thing, One Night in Vegas, MPREG, and the rest.
