Why this must be read:
Sooo there aren't words for how much I adore this girl. And it helps that we do a relay together. This was one of her fics, and it is my favorite of anything she's done.
There is maturity and grownup!rockers and gayness and fabulousness and Dewey. It's everything you could ever ask for.
Freddy sighed and picked Travis up, settling the four-year-old on his hip and walking into their living room.
"Billy," Freddy said for what seemed like the billionth time in the past week and a half. "Is busy in New York being fabulous. He’ll be back in two days."
Travis pouted some more before grinning winningly up at Freddy.
"Can we go to the park and play Nerf? Huh? Huh? Can we? Please?"
Freddy thought about saying no but capitulated easily under the heavy weight of his son’s puppy-dog eyes and he wondered, vaguely, how the hell he’d ever spawned a jock. His kid couldn’t be content with trains or cars, oh no, he was already gearing up to be America’s next great quarterback. Freddy figured that when Travis was twenty-five and rich he wouldn’t mind so much, but it was going to take some getting used to.
