Why this must be read:
One of the most interesting things about Battlestar Galactica, in my personal opinion, is the fact that there are 12 cylons. A, because it lets me know that Ron D. Moore had some basic plan from the onset, and B, because that way people can play with who those cylons will be. And there have been a lot of versions. I've seen quite a few "what if so and so was a cylon" fics in my time. Number Twelve is yet another version, wherein Zak Adama is number twelve, the final cylon, the last unidentified model. This isn't an outrageously original concept (because who better to disrupt the entire framework of Galactica than Zak Adama being a cylon?), but
romanticgirl writes about Zak-the-cylon and his aftermath with such grace it makes your heart sink. Zak's dialogue is enough to give you shivers and make your stomach do a little dance. Check it out.
