Why this must be read: It's a light, but not fluffy, fic that contains some great conversation between Gibbs and DiNozzo. Tony loves his car and he wants Gibbs to experience something. There are car metaphors and it's fantastic.

"What do you mean, you never drove a stick?" Tony stopped chewing and brushed powdered sugar from his fingers with a paper napkin.

"Never learned." Gibbs took a swig from his coffee cup, his eyes sweeping across the pier.

"But you were in the Marine Corps…don't tell me they give you jeeps with automatic transmissions."

"Your tax dollars at work, DiNozzo." Gibbs glanced in the rearview mirror, then fixed on the darkened hulk of the ship docked nearby.

You're very welcome. I love recc'ing fics to someone new in the fandom. I've read these and other stories over and over and I like knowing someone else enjoys them too.

There should be a new batch of NCIS stories up in about two weeks. That's when an NCIS ficathon's stories will be due.
