Why this must be read:
So once upon a time, an unholy genius of a man created a show called "Angel". And from that show came "Smile Time". And from "Smile Time" came, uh, one of the best mpreg fics ever? Well, technically I suppose it's a m-puppet-pregnancy-fic, but totally not the point.
The point is, it's puppet!Angel pregnant with Nina's baby, and quite possibly the most fun you've have all day/evening/whatever. It's just so much fun to read. It pokes fun at itself, the fandom characterization of Angel, the series, and mpreg fics in general, and it's so ridiciously funny that I fell out of my chair at the ending.
And Spike. For anybody who enjoys the lighter side of Angel/Spike dynamics, or giggles like crazy when Angel and Spike are snarking at each, this fic is a must-read. It also features a hilarious cameo by the other blonde vampire of season 5, Harmony in all her blonde glory. And, well, I've always had a soft spot for Harmony.
The next best thing was sitting under his desk. He wasn't hiding and he wasn't brooding—he was just sitting and . . . contemplating. He had a right to contemplation, didn't he? The world's first pregnant, male vampuppet certainly deserved some contemplation time!
Angel sighed. He may be the first, but he'd be willing to wager that within five years, somehow there'd be a second pregnant, male vampuppet. Why not? Spike copied everything else he did. And then the two little vampuppet babies could grow up together, fight, shag and propagate . . .
