The Gemini Door by Amanda Finch (PG-13)
Fandom: THE X-FILES
Pairing: NA
Author on LJ: NA
Author Website: Anna Mosity's Dreamers and Skeptics
Why this must be read: When I was picking out stories to recommend, I did it by going down the list of titles in my "To Keep" file and choosing the ones that leapt off the screen at me (that hadn't already been recced). Even though many were posted years ago, they've stayed in my memory as shiny, happy-making things. This story is short but makes an impact. And it's another outsider's view of M&S, which I enjoy.
The summary says, "Mulder and Scully, through the eyes of one keeping surveillance."

It was a tough choice, since my actual favorite stories of AF are the "Out of..." series, but it's a WIP and so that was that.
Glad you've been enjoying the old time recs! *g*
