VID REC: Highlander - In Your Eyes
Vidder: Killa and Carol S.
Musical artist: OysterBand
Pairing: Duncan/Methos
Vidder on LJ:

Why this vid kicks ass: Man, there are SO many great, great Highlander vids it was really hard to chose among them, but even so I was amazed to find this one hadn't already been rec'd. These two brilliant vidders chose a great song, with the POV used in amazing ways. The rhythms and subject matter of the clips are integrated seamlessly into the strong, driving beat of the music and the wonderful poetry of the words, and uses a fantastically edited version of the spiral double Q in a way that actually makes it work (contrary to the actual moment in the show, where it didn't - not really *g*). There is magic here, where the words and the visuals wrap you up and bring you right inside the intense complexity of the attract/repel relationship between Duncan and Methos. It leaves you breathless and moving instantly to hit the "play" button again. "Floating together. Forever. In Your Eyes." Wow.

You've made a great rec...I've been wondering if it had been rec'd before...it seems a crime that it hasn't
WONDERFUL vid, I remember when I first saw it, I bet I replayed it for an hour straight trying to find a part that didn't fit or I didn't like...I never found one buy the way.
This has to be my favorite Highlander vid
Ok so now that the caffine in my systems has convinced you I'm nuts I'm outta here.

This vid got me into Highlander. It got me into Oysterband. Hell, it got me interested in vidding, although the actual technical bit didn't happen until quite a while later.
Favorite. vid. ever. And I'd thought it existed only on VHS tape. :)
