Why this must be read:
This is such a lovely look into Kara near the end of Season 2. Writing Kara is tricky and I think Alanna has found a great balance between her tough, stubborn outer persona and her cautious, softer inner self. This is in the second person and I think it really works here. The metaphor comparing her relationship with Lee (and her whole life, really) to riding a roller coaster is pitch-perfect.
Also there is pilotsex and mention of Lee's hipbones of doom, which shoved it right over the finish line.
