Why this must be read:
This story takes place six years after the events in the movie and immediately after the Season Three finale, "Tomorrow." I love to see Billy Tallent pop up in other storyverses, but rarely does he feel so right. Something about the way pain and disillusionment has worn away at both Wesley and Billy makes them kindred spirits. I could see them reaching out for sex, not so much comfort as companionship for a little while, with someone who can recognize a fellow survivor.
