Why this must be read:

tacks is one of my favorites. It's hard for me to pick a story (though she does a kick ass crossover, let me tell you) but I think this one truly sheds the best light on the characters and her writing style. It's not nice and flowery and flowing - it's more like someone dumped the bucket over you. It's half stream of conscious half nit picky wording about characters with a little room left for pure emotions. It's all over and goes into corners most people forgets - and it seems so fucking real.

Connor feels like he’s forgetting things already. How to be anything but this. The running fast, the killing, the kneeling, the sounds of the coins sliding together in his palm like pools of shrapnel he baptises with.
