Every Day a Little Death: The Killing Joke Remix by thepurpleswitch (PG-13)
Fandom: SPORTS NIGHT
Pairing: Casey/Dan
Author on LJ:
thepurpleswitch
Author Website: and chimeras
Why this must be read: There's an element of self-indulgence in this: this is
thepurpleswitch's contribution to this year's
remixredux, and the story she based it on is one of mine (we ended up remixing one another, in fact; maybe next year there'll be more SN authors to go around. Or fewer. But that would be sad). It was interesting to me to see how another author could take a few words in common with some of mine and show all the other faces and facets potential in what was originally a pretty one-dimensional bit of fic. For everyone else? It's just a bloody good piece of writing. And as for the ending … good lord. I totally didn't see that coming!
