Why this must be read:

oh my god. I can't remember exactly how I came across this particular story but when I ended up reading it and it was fantastic. The summary sums it all up by saying "The importance of not running into oneself had been drummed into him from the first day in the academy" and it is so very true. Every good time travel story needs a paradox and well, this is Jack's.

But I have to say this, the reason I love this story so hard is a certain point in the story which I can't tell you about (it'll ruin it) but everytime I hit that point, it is nothing but pure fannish *GLEE*

Picking the 'first rec' for this at first was going to be a challenge but then I remembered this one and...it won hands down.
