Let's face it, a lot of the Jack/Ianto in Torchwood fandom is, well, miss more often than it is hit like most fandoms. A lot of the issues that should exist between Jack and Ianto get brushed over and forgotten about despite the fact they clearly aren't onscreen. It was from there that Mara was persuaded to try her hand at a Jack/Ianto story and like most of her work, she hit it out of the park with the fantastic.
