12days_of_clois community. Superman Returns is amply represented by some talented writers, including several who are taking a break from their ongoing epics to put on some festive cheer. This story's a great example of that. Set in community creator bistyboo1974's "Life Belongs to the Living" universe, "Winter Light" takes up the story of Lois, Clark and Jason preparing for and spending their first Christmas as a family. Touching but not cloying, romantic yet not sentimental, this is a wonderful exploration of what might yet be. . . .
