Why this must be read:
Take the classic Starsky & Hutch episode, "The Fix", adapt it for Real Ghostbusters, with Peter being deliberately hooked on heroin by the bad guys, throw in a ghost to complicate matters, and you've got this marvelous nail-biter of a long, plotty friendship-fic by Mara.
