Hi, I'm qbic1 and I'll be your popslash driver for the month. I'm an old school popslasher. I started out with BSB, fell for *NSYNC, let Slim Shady drag me to the dark side, but a poster from 98 Degrees ... well, you get the picture. :-) And somewhere, I never managed to put down a group. Five, Blue, BoyZone, O-Town, anyone? But for the start of a new year, I want to take you back to my original loves. It amazes me that Matthew only been recced once (and I did it) considering the enormous amount of superior fiction he has written. Road Trip is a perfect example of his best work. Funny, snarky, complex and 3-dimensional, MHT takes the men on a trip they will never forget. Each giant chapter gives another insight into the group dynamics while they drive cross country. It's as if Jane Austin wrote slash ... and porn. Your monitor will sizzle. Take a Road Trip w/Matthew and *NSYNC. Try it, you'll like it.

Oops, so sorry, I guess I should have said popslash stories. I loved that story, heck, I love all his stories. I adore his ER Rocket series although I have no idea how he thought of it. And his original gay fiction is incredible. I absolute adore his new series, In This Land. But I never even thought to look up the other recs of him outside of popslash. My bad! (Hangs head in shame)
