Why this must be read:

I've rarely read a MFU fic dealing with Napoleon and Illya getting older. Let me re-phrase that... I've read enough fics dealing with Napleon and Illya getting older, and staying healthy.

I think that's all I can say about this fic without spoiling everything. It's short, but cute.



Excerpt:

Illya reached the doorway of the recreation room and spotted the elderly man sitting all alone at a table staring out a window, with a cheap chess set up before him. Through the window he stared out of he could see several large pine trees and a flower garden with several elderly residents wandering about and chatting with new and old friends who also lived at the rest home.

Napoleon Solo was dressed in his usual gray three-piece suit. His hair was completely gray and vivid wrinkles lined his face showing his true age of 70.  To Illya's eyes, however, he still looked like the young lady’s man who was fast with a gun and charming to a lady in distress. Shaking his head he walked over to the table and sat down in the opposite empty chair.

"Hello." The brown eyes turned to meet the blue eyes before him. Solo smiled.

"Hello."
